ABOUT JO
25+ Years Teaching Yoga, Pilates & the Art of Movement
Teacher, Mentor, and Movement Guide
I’ve spent over two decades guiding thousands of people—of all ages, sizes, shapes, and stages of health—through movement that matters. What began as a personal practice has become a lifelong commitment to helping others feel seen, heard, and empowered in their bodies.
I bring a rare blend of movement expertise, mindfulness training, and real-world lived experience. My background spans classical yoga, Pilates, injury recovery, mental health, and therapeutic work. I’ve taught in studios, homes, clinics, and community spaces—but always with the same purpose: to create a steady, inclusive space where people can learn, grow, and feel at home in themselves.
Why I Do This
So You Can Feel Seen, Heard & Capable
I believe movement should feel intuitive, not intimidating. It should meet you where you are, not where you think you “should” be. My mission is to help you understand your unique body and movement language—because when you’re truly tuned in, strength and steadiness naturally follow.
My Goal
To Build an Inclusive Space Where Learning Thrives
My online studio was born from the desire to make high-quality, heartfelt teaching more accessible—wherever you are, whenever you’re ready. It’s a flexible, convenient space built on trust, care, and real connection. No mirrors. No pressure. No performance Just honest movement that supports you in daily life—movement that helps you feel better, not just do better.
My Approach
Tuning In With Acceptance, Not Expectation
I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to movement. I honour the fact that our bodies and minds are constantly evolving. My teaching adapts to that—helping you build a sustainable relationship with movement through compassion, clarity, and consistency.
This is a space where you can move without pressure, rest without guilt, and reconnect with your quiet strength. Where you're free to show up as you are—messy, magnificent, or somewhere in between.
Because movement isn’t about fixing ourselves.
It’s about coming home to ourselves—again and again.
